This stunning Ferrari 458 was just purchased second hand and was in desperate need of a detail and paint correction to restore and enhance the paint work back to its former glory!

The previous owner hadn’t taken much care of the paint work with some heavy swirl marks and scratches all over the vehicle, more noticeably on the black roof which was really letting this stunning supercar down when looking at it in the sun! The interior was detailed and the paint work received a Stage Two Paint Correction where needed and a Stage One Paint Correction overall, utilizing premium polishes from HD Car Care in the USA to produce a flawless finish. It was then coated with Ceramic Pro Permanent Paint Protection to protect the paint work from damaging environmental fallout, help keep it cleaner for longer and overall give it even more gloss!

Superior Shine had the privileged of preparing and detailing the new Ferrari 458 Speciale for a Media and VIP Vehicle Launch Event in Sydney this week, this particular vehicle was a left hand drive demo car which landed here straight from Italy for the event, the first 458 Speciale in the country!

Not only was the 458 Speciale on display, but also a number of other special edition Ferrari’s such as a 599 Scuderia signed by Fernando Alonso, F360 F1 and a F430 F1 Editions plus a number of other Ferrari’s.

The 458 Speciale developed primarily for track use can hit 0-100km/h in 3.0sec flat and has a 9000rpm red line and also features some outstanding technology such as Side Slip Control and sports some new aerodynamics and a low fat interior to cut down the weight compared to the normal 458.
