This stunning Ferrari 458 was just purchased second hand and was in desperate need of a detail and paint correction to restore and enhance the paint work back to its former glory!

The previous owner hadn’t taken much care of the paint work with some heavy swirl marks and scratches all over the vehicle, more noticeably on the black roof which was really letting this stunning supercar down when looking at it in the sun! The interior was detailed and the paint work received a Stage Two Paint Correction where needed and a Stage One Paint Correction overall, utilizing premium polishes from HD Car Care in the USA to produce a flawless finish. It was then coated with Ceramic Pro Permanent Paint Protection to protect the paint work from damaging environmental fallout, help keep it cleaner for longer and overall give it even more gloss!

This immaculate Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale was in need of a thorough Detail and Paint Correction to restore heavy swirl marks and imperfections in the paint work, overall the vehicle was in exceptional condition however the paint work was really letting it down and needed some serious attention to make this car stand out even more then it already does!

The racing stripes were removed as requested by the customer (to be replaced), and the whole vehicle received a thorough clean and paint decontamination, once this process was complete we were able to assess the paint work to determine what level of correction would be suitable.

A Stage Two Paint Correction was performed, this process involves using an abrasive polish with the correct polishing pad to remove the heavy defects in the paint work, once this stage is complete we then went on to the second stage which consist of a fine finishing polish and [...]

Ceramic Pro once again returned to the Top Gear Festival Sydney on the 8th-9th March 2014 following the success from the first Top Gear Festival in 2013 where they displayed a stunning Lamborghini Performante at the Ceramic Pro marquee.

Not only was the Ceramic Pro Paint Protection Ferrari 360 F1 Challenge Stradale looking stunning and received a lot of compliments but there was a plethora of exotic supercars on display from Rolls Royce’s, Ferrari’s, McLaren’s, Lamborghini’s, Pagani and even a stunning Koenigsegg!

The Ceramic Pro Ferrari 360 F1 Challenge Stradale was prepared by Superior Shine, this wasn’t the only car at the Top Gear Festival that was detailed by Superior Shine or coated with Ceramic Pro, there was also a stunning Lamborghini Murcielago (BATM4N) and a unique Honda NSX at the Supercar Display and also a highly tuned Holden Grange from our good friends at Oztrack Tuning!

Superior Shine had the privileged of preparing and detailing the new Ferrari 458 Speciale for a Media and VIP Vehicle Launch Event in Sydney this week, this particular vehicle was a left hand drive demo car which landed here straight from Italy for the event, the first 458 Speciale in the country!

Not only was the 458 Speciale on display, but also a number of other special edition Ferrari’s such as a 599 Scuderia signed by Fernando Alonso, F360 F1 and a F430 F1 Editions plus a number of other Ferrari’s.

The 458 Speciale developed primarily for track use can hit 0-100km/h in 3.0sec flat and has a 9000rpm red line and also features some outstanding technology such as Side Slip Control and sports some new aerodynamics and a low fat interior to cut down the weight compared to the normal 458.

Superior Shine Mobile Car Detailing was asked by the fastidious owner of this Ferrari F430 to perform a Full Detail and apply the increasingly popular Paint Protection.

The leather interior was cleaned and treated with Prima Nourish, which leaves a matte finish on the leather that is soft and supple, protecting it from premature aging and UV Rays.

The exterior and engine bay was extensively detailed ensuring all areas were meticulously clean and the paint work was machine polished with Optimum Hyper Spray Polish to remove very minor swirl marks and other imperfections to ensure the paint work was in an immaculate imperfection free condition before applying the Paint Protection

After the paint work was decontaminated and polished the Paint Protection was applied.

After having spent some time being garaged this Ferrari 360 was due for a good clean up ready to be put on display. The exterior had a soft foam wash then was dried with a microfibre waffle weave drying towel, the paint work was then waxed with Prima Banana Gloss Premium Wax, this product does not have the longest durability however it will add an extremely deep gloss and conceal minor swirl marks when a paint correction is not possible, it is extremely easy to apply and wipe off and does not leave any white residue or stain trims. The results speak for themselves.
